About this converter
One image per page
Every page becomes a separate JPG, numbered in order, so a six page brochure gives you six files. Single page PDFs come back as one image. When there are several, take them one at a time or grab the whole set as a single ZIP.
Choosing a resolution
Screen quality at 96 dpi keeps files small and is right for email, chat and web pages. Print quality at 300 dpi produces images four times larger in each direction, which is what you want if the page carries small type or will be printed. Pick the lower setting unless you know you need detail: it is the difference between a 200 KB image and a 3 MB one.
PDF to JPG: common questions
Can I convert only certain pages?
Yes. Leave the page range empty to convert everything, or enter something like 1 to 3, 7 to take just those pages.
Should I choose JPG or PNG?
JPG is smaller and right for pages with photographs. PNG is lossless and keeps thin text and line art crisper, so pick it for diagrams, screenshots and pages of small type.
Why is the text in my image blurry?
That is resolution. Text rendered at 96 dpi is soft when you zoom in, because there are simply fewer pixels. Convert again at 300 dpi and the same page will hold up.
Does the PDF stay unchanged?
Yes. Your original file is never modified, and it never leaves your computer: the pages are rendered here in the browser. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab clears everything out.
