How it works

How to convert PDF to PDF

  1. Add your PDF files

Drag them onto the panel above, or press Choose Files. Accepts .pdf.

  2. Press Convert to PDF

Your browser does the work. A progress bar tracks it, and nothing is uploaded at any point.

  3. Download your PDF files

The result appears with its new size. Take the files one at a time or the whole set as a ZIP.

About this converter

One attachment instead of nine

Applications, invoices, signed pages and scanned appendices arrive as separate files and almost always need to go out as one. Merging keeps the page order you set, so an application form followed by three certificates stays in that sequence.

What is preserved

Page sizes are kept per page, so an A4 document merged with a US Letter one keeps both shapes rather than scaling either. Links, bookmarks and form fields carry over from each source file, and bookmarks are nested under the document they came from so a long merged file is still navigable.

PDF to PDF: common questions

Can I change the order after adding files?

Yes. Every file appears as a row you can drag, and the list order is the order of the merged document. You can also remove a file without starting over.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

Up to 20 files per job, 100 MB each. For very large sets, merge in batches and then merge the results.

Do the original files change?

No. Merging writes a new PDF and leaves every source file exactly as it was.

What if one file is password protected?

A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be read at all, so the job stops and names the file. Save an unlocked copy from your PDF reader and merge that instead. A PDF that only restricts editing does open, because the merge happens on your own computer.
