About this converter
Two ways to split
Extract a range when you want one section: enter 4 to 9 and you get a single PDF holding those six pages. Split into single pages when you need each page as its own file, which is what an archive or an upload form with one slot per document usually wants.
Getting the ranges right
Page numbers refer to the position in the file, not to any number printed on the page, so a report whose body starts at printed page 1 after four cover pages needs 5 as its first number. Several ranges can be entered at once, separated by commas, and each becomes its own output file.
PDF to PDF: common questions
How do I extract a single page?
Enter the same number twice as a range, for example 7 to 7, or use single page mode and keep only the file you need.
Do the split files keep their quality?
Yes. Pages are copied across untouched rather than re-rendered, so text, images and embedded fonts are bit for bit what they were in the original.
How do I get all the parts at once?
When a split produces more than one file, the result card offers a single ZIP containing every part, alongside the individual downloads.
Can I split a scanned document?
Yes. Splitting works at the page level and does not care whether a page holds text or a scanned image.
